Cannot uncheck Motion Sensor permissions

I went into the page permissions for a local page. I see a Motion Sensor setting that is set to Allow (by default). I try to turn this to Block it automatically changes to Allow.

Steps:

  1. load a local html page on file://
  2. go to javascript settings chrome://settings/content/javascript
  3. click on the disclosure icon. that takes you to brave://settings/content/siteDetails?site=
  4. go to motion sensors
  5. change from allow to block
