Cannot see received crypto in transaction history

Description of the issue:

On the Bitcoin network.

Windows 10.

Brave Version 1.74.50 Chromium: 132.0.6834.111

My transaction history only displays sent bitcoin, but not received or bought.

Hello! Did you use BW to make these transactions? Please note, full BTC txn history is not available in the wallet at this time. Sorry for any confusion.

I believe you missed the meaning of olivelongjohns’s question. I have the same question.

When I bought some BERA on Coinbase and deposited it into the Brave wallet, the wallet’s transaction history does not show the deposit from Coinbase in the transaction history. I know roughly when the deposit would have been made given the transaction history from Coinbase, but I don’t see why the Brave wallet doesn’t treat a deposit like any other transaction and record it in the history.

If such deposit transaction history is available in the wallet, I can’t find it.

Please tell me where to find it. If it isn’t available, will you file a bug report or should I?

I haven’t bought anything through the wallet, but if oliveslongjohns is correct about purchases from inside the wallet not being in the transaction history either, I consider that to be a similar bug.

Hello - Transaction history is shown if the transaction occurred within Brave Wallet. External transactions or deposits are not shown at this time.

If you’d like to see a full breakdown of your transaction history you can use the relevant block explorer. The block explorer for Berachain can be found here: https://berascan.com/

Enter your address and the deposit will be seen.

Thanks for your reply. I hope that this will be changed in the future as it’s an unnecessary extra step. My other wallets show deposit information.

It’s a larger uplift, but incoming transaction history is on our radar. We’ve had a few roadblocks recently.
