Can’t sync between desktop and ios

Description of the issue:
Things won’t sync
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Download brave on desktop
  2. Download brave on iPhone xs max iOS 14.3
  3. Setup sync chain and turn everything on from desktop sync options(since there’s no sync options for iOS, except to add it to the sync chain)

Expected result:
Everything syncs(bookmarks, passwords)

Additional Information:

I think with iOS sync in Brave the only thing that is sync’d is bookmarks. That could have changed recently as I no longer use Sync in Brave.
