Description of the issue:
Changing the speed of YouTube videos no longer works. It just jumps right back to 1x speed immediately. Also the Video Speed Controller extension no longer works for ANY video on the web. Again, it jumps right back to 1x speed.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. In Brave Browser go to YouTube.com and load a video.
  2. Click the gear icon and choose a different speed.
  3. Install the Video Speed Controller extension
  4. Find another video online and try to change it’s speed.

Expected result:
Speed of video changes to what we set it to.

Nevermind. Seems to have been a conflict with another Global Speed extension. Once I uninstalled that, everything works again.
