Call for volunteers in a user study -- Study is now over

Thank you for reaching out and checking in on the study.

Our objective was to determine if we could predict the most effective times to display ad notifications through Brave Ads. We attempted to do this using machine learning models, trained in a Federated Learning fashion on low-sensitivity browsing behaviour data. Unfortunately, the predictive performance of our model was not satisfactory.

Given the results, we have decided not to present this work at a scientific conference at this time. Rest assured, we will continue to experiment and conduct further user studies to improve our understanding and offerings.
