Twice now I lost all my browser tabs with the Brave Browser. I’m switching to a different browser for mobile.

Is there a solution to retrieving the tabs?

Well it’s hard to tell without more information. Are you using an Android or iOS device? What were you doing in the browser when you lost the tabs? If you look in your history, do you see the tabs/sites that used to be there listed?
It is iOS on an iPad. The history is there. I closed the browser each night before turning off the iPad. The next morning, when I opened the browser, all the tabs were gone or closed. I assume that I can go through the history and select the links I want to open. But I don’t want to do that for some 60-70 individual tabs.

I see — thank you for clarifying. Unfortunately since we can’t pinpoint the exact behavior that caused the tabs to disappear I’m not sure there’s any way we can recover them.
Just to make sure you didn’t accidentally turn any settings on that might have caused the issue, can you please tap the main menu in the browser, then Settings, scroll down to the Tabs section and tap Close tabs and ensure that this option is set to Manually?
The option is set on manually and I have always keep it on that settings.
