Brave opening files in Dolphin rather than the default application

Description of the issue:
Opening files (not opening them in the folder) opens the file with Dolphin.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open a downloaded file
  2. The file opens in Dolphin instead of the default

Expected result:
The file executes without opening Dolphin

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.57.53 (Chromium version 116.0.5845.114)
Additional Information:
I uninstalled Xfce and returned to KDE and the issue started happening then. Don’t know why DE would have anything to do with it though…
