'Brave didn't shut down correctly' and then it just crashes

Description of the issue:
Everytime i open the brave browser desktop app it says it the top corner that it did not shut down correctly then after 5-7 seconds it just crashes, i have uninstalled reinstalled and it is still doing this error i do not know how to fix it any help would be appreciated.

this did not work it let me open it for a little longer but still crashed, this here worked for this issue though

Brave crash upon opening

I am also experiencing the same problem since 2 days ago. I have narrowed the problem down to “Brave Ad Block”. Some filters, or selecting all of them at once, cause this behavior. The only solution I found for this, is to manually change the state of the selected filters in the settings file “Local State”.
