Brave crashing on mobile when Sync Chain setup

Description of the issue:

Every time I set up a sync chain between my iPhone 13 mini and my laptop, the Brave browser on my iPhone crashes when trying to access tabs. This issue does not occur if I delete the sync chain.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Set up a sync chain between the Brave browser on the iPhone 13 mini (iOS 18.2) and a laptop.

  2. Attempt to access tabs on the iPhone.

  3. The browser crashes consistently when accessing tabs while the sync chain is active.

Expected result:

The tabs should load and function properly without the app crashing, even when a sync chain is active.

Brave Version (check About Brave):

Version 1.73 (97) BraveCore 1.73.97 (131.0.6778.108)

Mobile Device details:

• Device: iPhone 13 mini

• OS: iOS 18.2

Additional Information:

The issue is only resolved when the sync chain is removed?
