I let the poster know that I had translated the post into English (using google translate). The translation seems to have worked well but I’m not sure how accurate it is, but here’s the question in case anyone can answer (and translate into Japanese with Google):
I’m sorry, I don’t know much about virtual currency, so please let me know. I would like to know how to use Brave Browser’s wallet swap function. Currently, I have connected my Brave Browser wallet to my bitFlyer account, received BAT, and have a balance in my bitFlyer account.
I was thinking of exchanging this BAT for another virtual currency, but I don’t really understand how to use Brave Browser’s wallet swap. Could it be possible without transferring the BAT from the bitFlyer account to the local Brave Browser wallet? I imagine.
No matter how much I google about the distinctions and roles of the concepts of accounts, wallets, networks, addresses, etc. (like bitFlyer), I can’t find information to comprehensively understand the affiliate sites.
Information such as “You can read here” is also fine. It would be helpful if you could give me some guidance.
Oh thank you so much. Actually I understand English but this thread seemed for Japanese language, so I wrote my question in Japanese.
Again, my question is, in short, I would like to know how to use swap functionality in the Brave Browser’s wallet as shown in the attachment to my original Japanese question above.
I’ve been receiving BAT and I have the balance in my bitFlyer account (This is Japanese Virtual Currency transaction company recommended by Brave to connect to with Brave Browser) however, when I opened Brave Browser’s wallet to swap BAT with other currencies, it shows my BAT balance is zero. I guess I have to transfer my balance back to Brave Browser’s wallet from bitFlyer? Or any other way to make swap my BAT with other on Brave Browser?
I really don’t understand well about how virtual currency works, even clear definition of the several terminologies such as account (in bitFlyer), wallet (local?), network, address and so on. Google does NOT work for getting these kinds of knowledges as you can guess.
My primary purpose is to swap BAT with other currencies on Brave Browser.
But if somebody let me know where I can study comprehensively about virtual currency (and related terminologies), it would be highly appreciated.
Again, thank you very much for your help in advance.
Yes, I saw that after posting! If you get no answers here, then perhaps try the English section because they are quite responsive and usually very helpful over there for general info on the Brave side, although they might not be able to help you with bitflyer.
