Hello, I would like to know, if I enter a search term in the search bar on the Google page, will it be forwarded to Google if I use the Brave Browser? Or does the Brave suppress this?
If you search on Google the request will be sent to Google and it will show the results. Brave has no means of blocking it or suppressing it. Browser and search engine are two independent things. One doesn’t not affect the other. Hope this clears up the confusion
Thanks for the explanation.
I have one more question.
If I have Google as my default search engine in my browser, and I enter a search term in the address bar of my browser, will it be forwarded to Google?
If you search anything in Google irrespective of which browser you use, the query will be sent to Google and Google will give you the result. Browser doesn’t collect any data and wont send it to search engine.
