I recently set up Linux Mint Cinnamon 19.2 on a Lenovo notebook. The old Muon version of Brave on Win 7 allowed me to set the bookmark bar to show text only. In the new version of Brave I just installed, I can’t find how to get that setting so I’m stuck with text and an icon for each bookmark, which eats up far too much room on the bar. How can I get rid of the icons and just have text only like I used to be able to do.

Unfortunately, there is no way to do this at this time. I just tested myself and regardless of how you configure the browser, it appears that it will either force-display the site favicon, or it will display a “generic” icon:

Thank you. I saw a post from someone else who wanted to be able to use just icons only so I’m sure there are others who would like to see text only or icons only, along with the current both come back.
