All of a sudden my bookmark icons are blank. S’up did dat? I can’t find where this problem has been addressed by the brave people at Brave. Is this problem a sign of a security breech at Brave? Do I have to switch back to Chrome? Please advise.
Brave developers changed the icon in the latest update.

You can voice your opinion in the Github issue below. Many users are unhappy with the new change, which might make Brave developers introduce an option that will allow users to go back to the old icon.

I am a web developer, and I manage different clients in my bookmark folders.
- … The new update, changed all the bookmark folder icons to be: 
- This has made it a little more bland and hard to separate the folders at a glance
- Since the icon are the same color as the text now, everything kind of blends together
- This wasn't the case prior, when a very visible yellow folder separated them
