Backup and restore

Hello everyone and thanks for the help.

I currently have several profiles created in my Brave installation on Windows 11. Of course I also have bookmarks and other settings.
I am worried that after a problem on my laptop, I will have to do a new installation and all profiles and settings will be lost.

I have been doing some research and the solution is to access the BraveSoftware folder at the location C:\Users\ username \AppData\Local\BraveSoftware
and with the browser closed, save the entire contents of the folder.
Once I do the new clean install of Brave, I replace the folder and I’m done.

Is this correct?
Does the windows user have to be exactly the same as the old installation?
Could it be with another user name?
