All bookmarks deleted for no reason

Out of nowhere, I lost all my bookmarks on my desktop. It was working fine until today, I woke up and tadam, no more bookmarks. I still have my iPhone bookmarks, but all my desktop ones have vanished. I’m still in sync with all my other devices.

I now know why it happens. If I open Chrome on my desktop, he wipes all my favorites from Brave. How come?
