There is currently way too little contrast in text for inactive tabs. No matter what theme, default or not, the tab text is always lacking in contrast. It makes it a bit more difficult to read the other tabs at a glance.
You can see how the inactive tabs are way too light on my custom Chrome theme.
The same custom theme on Chrome has the contrast I wish I had on Brave.
My solution would be to add a customizer that allows you to change the color of the text and icons on the tabs/address bar. It would be great alongside “Customize fonts”. Something like theme beta would probably be a good example, except with additions like bolding each text too. There should also be an option to to leave the other unchanged color options blank so the other default options take over.
