Light Mode inactive tab text unreadable

Description of the issue:
The text of the title of the inactive tab is almost unreadable in the default Light theme. Could the color of the text be slightly darker / is there some tool to configure this?

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Set theme to the default light theme
  2. Have 2 or more tabs open
  3. Look at the text of the tab title for the inactive tabs

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Brave’s UI, the text in the inactive tab is faded
Chromium/Chrome’s UI, the text is a lot more readable in the inactive tabs

Expected result:
Maybe since the active tab’s title has bold text anyway, pure black text on the inactive tab should not be a problem

Reproduces how often:

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Operating System: Kubuntu, but the problem is also observed in Windows.
Brave Version: Version 1.28.105 Chromium: 92.0.4515.131 (Official Build) (64-bit)

This problem is worse in Windows, where the text is even more unreadable.

Well, this should get to the developers team. As for a solution right now, you could use dark theme? :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes, I’m currently using the dark theme.
Thanks for the quick reply!

I will tell you if I hear the issue is being worked on.
