There was another side wide update and now the videos are mashed together with no titles and I already have a filter in place to revert to the prior UI and this makes it look awful. I wanted to report this to the uBlock team but due to circumstances I cannot reach out to them anymore as easily so I want to let someone know about this.
Could you try to clear the cookies/cache for youtube?
I just did and nothing happened to change it back and I closed and reopened the browser and nothing changed and it still looks weird. It seems like signing out fixes everything back to what it should be like which is bizarre to me. Idk what the heck’s going on here anymore.
Try logging into another account and see.
Sometimes, YouTube tries new things on certain accounts and maybe what they are testing on your account is not compatible with your Brave version.
I am having a similar issue. This is what it came up with on private browser. I cleared cookies/cache as well
Remove any custom rules in brave://adblock

Thanks for this. Had some custom filters enabled from a different help thread, removing them and keeping the Shield on fixed the problem. Cheers

I have no other accounts other than this one now so I can’t do that. Logging out doesn’t cause this behavior at all actually and clearing the cookies & cache didn’t revert it.
