YouTube stops loading after a point on iOS app

Description of the issue:

Have noticed that in the last few weeks, YouTube does not load after a point (after 4-5 video suggestions, to be precise). This is valid on the YouTube home page as well as the search page.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Launch Brave on iOS.
  2. Go to youtube.com.
  3. Start scrolling on the page for video suggestions.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

It gets stuck and doesn’t load videos after a point. See screenshots attched.

Expected result:

YouTube should scroll down smoothly and produce video suggestions properly as I scroll down. Not an issue in Safari.
Can provide video/gif but can’t upload it here since the size is too large. Feel free to reach out if you need it.

Reproduces how often: always

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu): iOS 13.6.1 and 1.19.2 (20.08.05.18)

This is a known issue, we have a fix and it should be out next release.
