My friend and I are experiencing difficulties using the page https://www.springer.com/us, related to the scientific journal. The page does not access hyperlinks or any other navigation system. Other browsers are working normally.
@Moita issue is with Shields. Website has cookie consent that Brave is dismissing. Website is blocking all interaction unless/until someone accepts the notice. Disabling Shields just long enough to accept will fix the issue. Then can enable Shields again. At least just as a temporary workaround
In the meanwhile will tag @fanboynz and he or one of the others at Brave will look into it and adjust filters to prevent this from happening in the future.
Fanboynz, I tested on my iPhone to replicate and say what I did above. I did not look at other operating systems yet to know if the browser works a little bit differently
@Moita I know been a while, but wanted to circle back. As I had mentioned before, it was related to cookie notice. But team worked on it and have new content filter that should make it work perfectly fine regardless. It’s resolved with https://github.com/easylist/easylist/commit/6f10f720755b23ed22c3b35f7388bb27b6b96c58 and should automatically be in filters within the next 24 hours.
