Toolbar not customizable

Description of the issue:
The Toolbar is not customizable.
This means that some frequently used extension are near the bottom of the “puzzle piece” list (which is also not re-orderable.

This requires constant clicking and scrolling since it not possible to ensure that the most frequently used extension are always visible in the toolbar.

What thing? my password manager, close all tabs, zoom page, etc.

As much as I appreciate the chromium ancestry of brave, I find myself constantly reverting to FireFox.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Try to customize toolbar or re-order extensions list
  2. Note that is is not possible

Expected result:
obvious from above
Brave Version 1.63.162:

Additional Information:
This is a significant negative for usability. Is an omission of a function like this a bug? Is a design shortcoming a bug?

Maybe, at least for me. I’m easily annoyed by inefficiencies like this that afflict me dozens of time a day

@Doc you do realize you can pin them, right? For example

image

Click on the pin button and it pins it to the bar. So it will go from something like:

to

And once pinned, you can rearrange. Like you’ll see below:
