Is there a way to set the default save location of files to be the most recent folder you saved something to? I’m only aware of the ‘Location’ and ‘Ask Where To Save’ settings.
So while I would like to be prompted ‘Where To Save’, it would be ideal if the default window was the ‘most recent’ previous save location, and not one specified folder every time. As is the case with most other programs/browsers.

This should be the default behavior of the browser. This is exactly what I see when I go to download files – I’m prompted where to download, but the starting location is the last place I saved files to when using the browser.
Do you see a different location here? Is it default to a specific location each time?
Yeah. So at the moment ‘Location’ is specified as “C:\Users***\Downloads”. Which is where it opens to now each time. And it doesn’t seem like there’s a way to clear that, only change the folder.
I may just try Resetting all the settings, but thought I’d check here first.

You should be able to change the default location in Menu --> Settings --> Additional settings --> Downloads:
@Mattches Right, but that just changes to another specific folder, rather than whatever the most recent folder I saved something to was, right?
Oh I see what you’re saying. Right – so there are no additional settings that would do this I don’t think. I can reach out to the team and see if there are plans to add this functionality down the road.
