Depending on which setting page I navigate, I get different statements. One telling me, Rewards is not activated. The other, it is activated.
I haven’t seen any ads for months.
No ideas?

does seem odd almost as if you are running two instances of brave. I guess you have checked out the support pages https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/categories/360001053052-Rewards
Other than that someone from the community may pitch up with a solution or you could DM one of the Brave support team.
