The settings reset button is not working. Although I tried to use it a couple of times, it doesn’t seem to have any effect. Any suggestions on how reset settings of the browser?

Try redownloading the installer from brave.com, run the installer without deleting the already existing files on your computer, and seeing if that fixes anything after.
