Publisher : verified website icon : which file is used?

My website is verified.

In “Brave rewards” browser tool, how should I get my website icon ? favicon.ico or ?

Can you elaborate a bit on what exactly it is that you feel you’re missing?

The icon displayed in “Brave rewards” tool is not my website one ( brave approved).

Whereas for wikipedia or brave I can see their respective logo as icon.

How to do this ? Don’t you use favicon ? which file do you use ?

This was with :

  • Ubuntu 16.04
  • Brave 1.1.21

I have deleted Favicons file in ~/.config/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser/Default folder from Brave Browser and restart brave : no change : favicon in “Brave rewards” is not my website favicon (but default brave favicon).

Then I have upgraded Brave to 1.1.23, restart : OK : Favicon in “Brave Rewards” is the good one, my website favicon.

PS : I don’t know where the first displayed favicon (The R one) was coming from. Nothing to do with my website (I thought it was maybe some default rewards favicon).
