When I open the password manager to try and copy or view the saved password for a particular website it requires me to enter a pin?

This is a standard feature of most Chromium based browsers and is present on desktop and mobile devices. In order to view sensitive data like this, users need to enter their system password or PIN first to ensure you are the one getting this information.
The PIN will be the same PIN you use to unlock your Android device.
As far as I know, this is the only PIN that the browser can request (on Android). Are you 100% certain that your device PIN didn’t work?
I’ve reached out to our Android team to see if they have any other suggestions here.
