Can a bookmarks import be directed to a specific folder created to hold the imported bookmarks and keep them separate from the already-existing bookmarks?
They are imported into a new folder called “Imported”. You can move them afterwards.

Thanks, @Mythical5th. Do you know whether that generally applies to other browsers as well since it’s not something one can undo if the incoming bookmarks are merged with the existing ones?
Chrome worked that way last time I used it. If you want to check what will happen, you could create a new profile to import bookmarks into, or edit a copy of the bookmarks file so that it only contains a few bookmarks which can be managed more easily if they are put in the wrong folder.

Thanks. Is a new destination folder created for every separate import – i.e., ones that occur after the first one?
