New YT layout , want to change to old one

I want to change the new youtube layout to the old one.

I do not see this layout on Youtube on my end, it looks normal. Regardless, if you’re seeing this layout then it is being control by YouTube, not by Brave.

don t think is controlled by youtube because when i m on incognito is the old layout.

After a quick search, I can see that Youtube in fact has changed their layout recently. It is likely either at a slow roll-out or they are A/B testing the layout, which would explain why I (and other users) are not seeing the same new UI, and why you are seeing the old UI when you view it in a Private browsing window.

While it is not caused by Brave, I did find a solution you can use to resolve the issue:

  1. In Brave, go to Settings --> Shields --> Content filtering
  2. In the Custom filters section at the bottom of the page, please enter the following filter:
    youtube.com##+js(set, yt.config_.EXPERIMENT_FLAGS.kevlar_watch_grid, false)
  3. Click Save changes and relaunch the browser

Youtube should now display the old UI. Please let me know if this works for you.
