I want to try Brave mobile browser on my S21 (Android) however I can’t seem to find a way of importing my samsung internet bookmarks to Brave mobile. Is it even possible?

Yes and no. Brave allows you to import/export bookmarks. The issue, at least from what I can tell when I was just looking at my Samsung Galaxy S9 I had stashed away, is that Samsung Internet does not appear to have an option to export bookmarks.
