I cannot access my passwords in Settings. When i am asked for my master password, it does NOT enter it into the 6-digit squares in the centre of my screen. Can you give me a fix for this problem?, i need to access my passwords.

Afaik, there is no master password for the in-built password manager. Do you mean the sync code which contains 24 random words?
