I used to be able to stay signed into Brave with my imac, but now everytime i quit and return, I have to sign in again. Annoying.

Did you have any options enabled for “On exit” under brave://settings/clearBrowserData? If you have “cookies” option enabled under “On exit”, Brave will clear your cookies whenever you quit Brave
