How can we increase tab size?

The tab size is unreadable, I see others have raised this issue in the last couple of years but there is no response whatsoever.’

Both Firefox and Chrome have, or allow, larger tab sizes.

@adesimba,
Thank you for reaching out. There is no way to increase “tab size” specifically at this time. I am interested in where you are seeing this option available in other browsers, as I cannot find them in FF or Chrome.

If Chrome has the feature it is likely that we would have it as well, but I’m not sure that’s the case.

Apparently the default size of tabs on both Firefox and Chrome is a bit larger than on Brave.

Hi and welcome to the community.

There is a Tab Scrolling experiment at brave://flags which allows various display options. You might want to test if any of the options available are more to your liking. I know at least one community member previously reporting the issue got the display to match the display from a different browser by changing these options.

@adesimba,
They seem quite comparable to me, with FF being the smallest in both width and length:

Do your tabs appear differently on your end? Can you share a similar screenshot?

Thank you, I’ll try this.

That is very curious, thank you. Now I’m wondering if it’s the size of my tabs I need to adjust in Brave. I pin a number of tabs, and I see pinned tabs are what look smaller. Thanks again.

Yes — pinned tabs will always appear smaller in the browser. Note that the other browsers also shrink the size of pinned tabs as well:

Yes, I knew that the pinned tabs would be smaller. Thank you.
