Hide grey space of blocked ads

Hey,

in this post 2 years ago it was announced to be able to hide the grey space that is left after blocking an ad:

Is it possible to delete the space left by undisplayed ads?

Just started using Brave. So far so good. Pages seem to load faster. There doesn’t seem to be a major need to add extensions, so I think that helps. In Shields, I block everything, which is great. However, the page then shows large blank spaces where the ads would have been. I’m happy not to have ads, but I still have to scroll through blank space to continue reading. Is there any way to delete these blank spaces. Happens on all the websites I generally visit . Using various ad blockers …

I cannot find a option to do it. It would extremely improve our experience, if we could collapse the space. Scrolling over massive grey boxes houndered times a day is not the greatest way to browse.
