Group tabs all disappeared but then reappeared a month later

Description of the issue:
About 1-2 months ago, all my grouped tabs on my mobile Android disappeared. I didn’t delete the tabs or anything, just opened up the browser to nothing and nothing in recent tabs. I got over it and created new grouped tabs. Today I was on the browser, exited, reopened to see all my old grouped tabs that disappeared but non of my current ones. I had important stuff I was doing and need to current grouped tabs back.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Brave 1.74.48, Chromium 132.0.6834.83

Mobile Device details
Android 12; Build/S2RE32.29-16-1-5-19

in Privacy and security > Close tabs on exit check whether it is turned off or not. also select Open tabs in Sync settings.

I have it set to sync everything and I have the close tabs on exit set to off

Then something unusual happened. Maybe some bug.
