I download music (usually flac) from 7 Digital using a phone wifi tether. Downloads often freeze and using Microsoft Edge I can fix that by pausing and resuming the download, ditto with Firefox. This almost always works - however with Brave I cannot get this mitigation to work at all. The download freezes and pause resume has no effect. I have windows 10 Pro on an Intel Nuc.
Redownloading the file sometimes downloads teh whole file without freezing but wastes my phone data.
I assume the situation would be best investigated by attempting to download flacs from a resume capable server?
In the majority of cases I expect Brave to behave like either Firefox or Edge and resume to restart frozen flac downloads
