Hello - I searched for an answer for this but did not find one. I would like to reassign the F12 key to something other than debug web page, because I accidentally hit this key fairly often and some sites take a really long time to come back from this. Please advise.

if use windos can try this ? AFAIK, there is no way to change key bindings for browser!
