Customizing New Tab page

I’m coming from Chrome, and the New Tab page recently improved.
You can now:

  • Choose the site shortcuts that are displayed (Brave only offers recently visited websites)
  • Set a background image

Would be cool if it came to Brave. It would also be cool if you could turn off the stats and customize info to display, a bit like widgets on Android (weather, time, news…)

I hope the team will make some major changes of UI, because now the browser looks like Chrome.

It’s based on Chromium, so it’s not a surprise.
Don’t really see this as an issue, Chrome MD UI is pretty clean and pleasing.
