The install instructions for debian say to type:
sudo curl -fsSLo /usr/share/keyrings/brave-browser-archive-keyring.gpg https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/brave-browser-archive-keyring.gpg
Doing this gives this error:
curl: (6) Could not resolve host: brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com
There are many other people on this forum who have had this problem. All of their tickets have no replies and were automatically closed. The tickets go back to 2019 at least. As of 2025, this is still happening. No responses from the team or the community in all that time is not a good sign. Maybe I was wrong to want to switch to Brave.
Also why can’t I create meaningful tags? I have to choose from a list that doesn’t help people index this ticket.
System is a Debian 12 XFCE template on Qubes OS.
