Claim Rewards doesn't work 😞

When I click on Claim Rewards button I get “Oops something went wrong, please try again later…” on Brave Nightly.
Help needed.

Would love to know what exceptions raise this useless error message

Thank you for reporting! Please DM with the following information:

  • Copy/paste your Wallet ID (found on brave://rewards-internals)
  • Your OS and Brave version (first three lines in brave://version)
  • A screenshot of your Rewards panel in Settings --> Brave Rewards.

So I’ve been scouring the Internet and it turns out this is a back-end server bug that’s been happening randomly for a couple years now with no resolve, seems whatever devices this happens to can never receive claims, that’s insane, why has this been allowed to continue for so long?
Brave should take a deep breath and decide to eirther drop rewards system altogether or give it a much needed overhaul
