Can't recover open tabs after brave update

Recently after I updated Brave it did not automatically recover any of my open tabs. This is a feature that almost all browsers have nowadays and it would be really helpful if this feature was introduced ASAP. It could also help if the browser crashes or any similar problems occur.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Have some tabs open
  2. Update Brave
  3. Open tabs are not automatically recovered

Expected result:
Brave is able to recover open tabs automatically after an update.

Brave Version:
Version 1.4.95

Hi @manan that’s very bizarre. This is a default feature. Has this happened more than once or just during the latest update?

No it just happened once for the latest update. My browser setting was on open where I left off but it seems to have reset that to open new tab.
