Can’t share screen in Google Meet

Description of the issue:

I want to share a particular window (not a browser tab, or entire screen) for the presentation and it is not showing any of the open window in the windows tab of the share screen interface.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Enable hangouts in the extension here
  2. Goto https://meet.google.com and setup instant meeting
  3. Click on the share screen button and navigate to Windows tab.

Expected result:

It should enumerate the open windows and show their atleast a list of clickable items containing window titles

I’m not an expert but have you checked your “WebRTC” settings? First option under “Privacy & Security” settings. I’m not 100% SURE if it’s applicable as I try not to have anything to do with Google but this might apply and be a good starting point.
