Brave Stable & Brave Beta / Nightly on the same Macbook pro

Hi all,

I’m using brave stable as my daily driver, I tried to install Brave Beta on the same machine but it keeps crashing. It’s the same with Brave Nightly.

has anyone experienced a similar problem?

Have you checked the Mac system logs for a clue?

I have multiple channels (Release, Dev, and Nightly) installed and running on Linux and Win10.

I have this exact same problem. The Beta does not work at all, neither does nightly.

The system logs are hard for me to decipher. Mine say the following:

Exception Note: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY

there’s more but it would be a huge file.

For either of you, when you quit the Brave Release version, are their rogue (lingering) Brave processes running?

(Admittedly, I will simultaneously run the different channel versions with no issue).
