There seems to have been a change to the physical controls for Brave in CarPlay.
In my Hyundai i20N I have a up/down button that maps to previous (up) and next (down). It used to be that I could push the button upwards, and it’d register pretty immediately and go to start of track, and another flick of the up would go to previous track. Similar for down going to end/next track.
Then a change happened which I think is due to the app, since this issue doesn’t manifest with say Music app controls.
If I press the up button now, nothing registers.
However when I hold the up button in my car, there’s a noticeable delay before the command registers. Once it finally does, the app rapidly skips through multiple tracks in quick succession. This makes it impossible to precisely stop at the specific track I want, as it doesn’t allow for controlled, step-by-step selection. The only track I can really land on is the very first one in the playlist as it can’t select a track before that one.
