Several issues with iOS playlists in Brave Beta 1.69 (136).
-
In the last few releases of Brave Beta the controls to go a previous track or next track do not work anymore, e.g. from gestures on my headphones or steering wheel controls for the case of CarPlay.
-
This is more of a feature, but it would be nice to have controls both in the UI (both on phone and CarPlay) to rewinds to the beginning of the track and then go a previous track, similar to how Apple Music controls are structured.
-
Again another feature would be able to seek the track using touch gestures on the current playing progress line; at least when tested in CarPlay this does nothing.
-
I consider this an annoying behaviour, but when playing a song and say you’re 20 seconds in and you decide to switch to another song before it, that’s fine, but when you return to that song either by explicitly switching or letting the playlist play, the song resumes at 0:20. I think bookmarks of songs should be explicitly reset if switched away from.
-
Sometimes when using CarPlay, two songs play at the same time sometimes from the same playlist, sometimes from different playlists, and you need to select a new song to get it to stop doing that. I don’t know the conditions to reproduce it – it might involve first playing a song on the phone, and then connecting to carplay and using the browser app to play another song.
-
If the music has not been downloaded by the phone, then it doesn’t play on the CarPlay app. It should kind of be expected that the CarPlay app will download and cache when it encounters a song that hasn’t already been downloaded.
