Brave does not store Windows Position on startup

Hello,

i work with 3 Profiles on 3 Monitors on Windows 11. Unfortunately it is not possible to store Brave Windows Positions on startup.

I’ve put Brave Profile 1 on my left Monitor, Brave Profile 2 on my middle Monitor and Brave Profile 3 on my right Monitor.

Everytime i end and restart any Brave Profile, that Browser Window appears on my right Monitor :frowning: MS Edge does this better. Edge restarts the Window for the selected Profile on this Position where i ended the Browsersession.

Is there a chance tp change this?
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Brave Profile 1 and put it on the right side of your screen.
  2. Open Brave Profile 2 and put it on the left side of your screen.
  3. Close both Browser Sessions and restart them.

You will see, that both Sessions start on the same location of the screen - but one of them not on the same Position where you closed the Session.

**Brave Version:
Version 1.34.81 Chromium: 97.0.4692.99 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit)

**Additional Information: NVideo T1000 Grafic-Card (if this does matter)

Ok, i found out, that this problem can be solved if you reset all your settings.

But if you change something in the settings “appearance” after this, the problem is there again. Looks like a bug for me.

Definately a bug.

Try to change the setting here

and the browser will not start at the window position where it was closed the last time. If you then reset all settings, close and restart the browser, the browser starts at the same position where it was closed. But if you change this setting in the screenshot, it does not start on the same position where it was closed.

You can set it back to “Open last viewed sites” and the window position is stored. But this is not the way it should work, right?
