With the latest version, Brave crashes about 30 seconds after opening.
Version 1.45.113 Chromium: 107.0.5304.62 (Official Build) (arm64)
Disable cards.
do this by
clicking on customise on the home tab → go to cards section → scroll down and then disable cards
If that doesn’t work, disable Brave news.
I was able to run it long enough to get the Nov.2 update. No issues so far

You’ll find this in Settings --> Additional Settings --> System --> Hardware Acceleration
