This seems similar to this thread: Links in other apps (Slack, Telegram, eM Client) don't open in Brave
Also, I’ve changed default app link type for http and https to Firefox and Edge, and both work. The issue is only with Brave.
I’ve also noticed that dragging a link onto tabs is impossible, so this seems like a global Brave issue, and not something that is Windows-adjacent.
