I formatted my computer and I trusted that it had a synchronization code and when I put it in it told me that it had expired and now I have no way to recover my bookmarks 
Can we do anything to recover it?

Are you entering your Sync code along with the 25th rotating word as stated here on our support website?
Note: At this time, we are currently leveraging use of a 25th Sync code word to Sync a new device to the chain. If you are using the code words (as opposed to scanning the QR code) to Sync a new device, please enter your 24 word code, then enter the rotating 25th Sync code word that can be found here in order to add your new device to the Sync chain.
