Backup not working on Mac after reinstalling Brave

Hi there,
I had to uninstall Brave browser cause it couldn’t verify my uphold account. Now I managed to verify it, but the backup doesn’t bring me back the tokens I had before, even if I’ve correctly inserted the backup key.
What should I do? Thanks
