Description of the issue: In the Android Brave Browser App, the ‘Auto-Caption’ function doesn’t work. While a YouTube Video is playing, if we click Caption and auto translate, by default it will show a list of languages where we can select the preferred language for auto-generated captions. But this list of languge doesn’t show in brave android app. Auto-translate captions which is a feature of youtube videos also doesn’t work. The same video if played in Brave desktop browser, the auto captions work.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Play any YouTube video in Brave Android app.
- When the YouTube video is played, click on the settings icon on the top right of the video.
- Select ‘Captions’
- Now select ‘Auto-translate’
Expected result: List of languages will be shown. We have to select any language to get the captions in the selected language.

Additional Information: This is not a video specific problem. This bug is there in all YouTube videos played inside the Brave Android App. Rectify this bug. Thanks
